This is a beautiful sapphic reimagining of Medusa, told through gorgeous full-color illustrations. 🐍💚

A blind princess is betrothed to an arrogant man she doesn’t want to marry. When she encounters Medusa, she quickly learns that the woman she’s been taught to fear isn’t the monster she’s been made out to be. As they spend more time together, the two discover how much they enjoy one another’s company.

Both are prisoners by circumstance in their own ways, and they find comfort in their shared loneliness. Their connection is incredibly sweet, and I loved watching their bond develop throughout the story.

This was such a sweet and beautiful read. I enjoyed every page and finished it in one sitting! 💕 Highly recommend for anyone looking for a heartfelt sapphic retelling with beautiful artwork.

Maria is trying her best to provide for her family during a time of political strife and consumption ravaging the population in Russia. Maria finds herself becoming the laboratory assistant to a “Mad Scientist”.

Okay, so the whole concept of this book definitely is up my alley. HOWEVER...the audiobook is not giving this story justice. I hate to say that, especially since the narrator is the author. The narration made me unfortunately DNF. I may still pick up the physical copy and give it another chance.

I stopped at 40% but I do still look forward to giving it another shot in physical or e-book format!!

I am still shook by how much I enjoyed Tides & Torment. This will be one I will be recommending until the end of time.

This was a true enemies-to-lovers story! Which is one of my favorite tropes ever in a Romantasy. The characters had me in all my feels and trying to figure out who the killer is. Oh yeah, it has Clue vibes along with ancient Gods and Goddesses, wicked banter, an ageless assassin badass, and amazing character arcs for the main characters!

"Harvey Thaddeus Kade was not the rescuing type. Neither was Thaddeus, Enchanter of Eselin. But Thadarys, God of Sight, couldn't leave Roisin Lark to drown."

All of these ARCs were provided by Netgalley. A big thanks to Netgalley including the authors and their publishing company, for letting me read them in exchange for my honest review!
